"Youth Suit" LBD's first record.

All these songs were written and recorded on ye old iPhone 8-track from March 2020- September 2020.
Recorded at home and in my van in Los Angeles or Tucson or the surrounding nature areas. This was my first time really diving into recording. I was trying to record with Greg on a real microphone and computer setup but it just wasn't getting the sound I was looking for. I wanted it to be an intimate experience. Like capturing thoughts in my head no one could hear. Talking to myself because there was no one else to talk to or I didn't want to bother anyone with my corrupt thoughts. I wanted to alchemize them so they couldn't disrupt me anymore.

These songs have many layers. I hope that you can connect with some of them. They all come from experiences that may be wrapped up in a metaphor but if you listen enough you will start to gather different experiences within them and find your own. I am new to making music but I am not new to listening to the voices in my head. I hope you enjoy these songs. I hope they comfort you or make you question something you didn't question before.

Big shout out to Greg Saunier for making this project come to life for believing in me and making every song better with drums or with love. And thank you Trevor for making those 2 songs sparkle. And to Bug Farm Family for the wonderfool artwork.
